Anambra State Government Inaugurates State Emergency Medical Treatment Committee

Anambra State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Vincent Okpala today, Friday, 7th May, 2021 inaugurated the Anambra State Emergency Medical Treatment Committee on behalf of Anambra State Government.

Inaugurating the Committee, Dr. Okpala said that the Committee will enhance emergency service delivery at the State level and effective mobilization of State and National Emergency Medical Treatment Committee resources for Anambra state.

The Committee will equally identify and update a database of providers within Anambra state for a accreditation, ensure timely transmission of verified claims from providers to the National Emergency Medical Treatment Committee for prompt settlement among others.

The chairman of the Committee, Dr. Obinna Mbah assured that they will do their job judiciously to actualize the goal expected of them.
