Anambra State Government says it is mapping out severe sanctions for those who go against the laws guiding waste disposal in the State.
The commissioner for Environment, Engineer Felix Odimegwu stated this while interacting with journalists in Awka.
According to the Environment Commissioner, the state government has abolished the system of open collection and dumping and also commenced house to house waste collection, as a way of taking responsibility as well as caring for the environment.
