Anambra State Ministry of Health Conducts COVID -19 Tests On Anambra Legislators

A medical team of the Ministry of Health has conducted COVID-19 tests on members of Anambra State House of Assembly, as part of the measures to contain the spread of the virus in the state.

The exercise which is holding at the Conference Hall of the House of Assembly today, Tuesday, 19th January, 2021, in line with the directive of Governor Willie Obiano that the lawmakers, and all senior government officials should be tested for COVID-19 virus.

Speaking to journalists after undergoing the COVID -19 test, the Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor explained that the exercise is commendable, as it is to ensure that Anambra State is safe, and to help discover those who have contracted COVID -19 virus so that immediate remedial actions can be taken.
