Anambra State Ministry of Transport today, 2nd March, 2021, granted “Motorcycle Waiver Certificate” to SUSSETO LOGISTICS COMPANY LIMITED and NELLY’S BLENDZ LIMITED for courier and delivery services in Anambra State.
The waiver, according to the Anambra State Commissioner for Transport, Mr. Afam Mbanefo, followed meeting prescribed requirements by the companies.
Mr. Mbanefo, who cautioned the companies against using the waivers to shortchange government and commit illegalities, added that the certificates have security codes to help in addressing possible case of falsifications, even as he reminded them of the need for regular revalidation.
Representatives of the companies, Messrs Anieto Ajulufo (SUSSETO) and Chinweuba Okoli (NELLY’S), thanked the State Government for efforts in sanitising the State’s transport sector, promising to put the waiver for intended purposes.
Present at the event were the Permanent Secretary, Anambra State Ministry of Transport, Dr. Emma Ude Akpeh, Head of Department of Transport Operations in the Ministry, Mr. Christopher Okeke, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry, Mr. Emeka Ilozor, Supervisor VIO, Mr. Raph Okoye, and General Manager of Anambra Traffic Management Agency, ATMA, Mr. Chidi Umezinwa, representing the Managing Director.
