The Staff of Anambra State Signage and Advertisement Agency today embarked on operation clean up in the capital territory.
The exercise which started from the bridge at Aroma was carried out around the whole capital territory to clean up the public buildings and other structures blighted with posters.
The agency also wants to use this medium to remind the general public (especially politicians, churches and bereaved families) of the need to approach the office to get clarification and authorization on where to paste posters, and also make the requisite payments before pasting.
The agency henceforth will not tolerate any unauthorized posters of any purpose on public buildings (the flyovers, road demarcations, street light poles et al.)
The agency also wishes to urge the general public who use any form of signage in the state to proceed to the bank and pay the necessary fee on the demand notice issued to them by her.
NB: Remember any form of cash payment to anybody is not acceptable.
