One of the major campaign groups of Chief Nicholas Ukachukwu, for November 6 Anambra state governorship election on the platform of APGA has rolled out its plans geared towards mobilising ndi Anambra especially the APGA members into the Ikukuoma 2021 gubernatorial project.
Sustenance Of Faith In Governance, SOFIG is led by its National President, Mr Kingsley Ezekwelu who is an aide to governor Obiano, while its state Chairman is Lady Ngozi Agbata Okeke, a Senior Special Assistant on Protocol to the APGA governor.
Yesterday, SOFIG inuagurated its Aguata LGA and ward excos at Vonic Hotel Ekwuluobia with over 500 APGA members in attendance.
The successful hosting of SOFIG chapter at Aguata yesterday is evident that Ikukuoma is quietly moving ahead with formidable and reliable grassroot structure in APGA.
Recall that the duo of Ngozi Ossy-Agbata and Kingsley Ezekwelu were suspended indefinitely by governor Obiano for floating this campaign organization for Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu. Immediately AIF Media announced the launching of the group on November 8, 2020, the governor bowed to the pressure from the cabal and suspended two of his aides who floated the group.
However, their suspensions were later lifted when some big weights intervened.
The National President described SOFIG as a body of committed citizens who are eager to elect a passionate leader who has the interest of the citizens at heart.
SOFIG said “that after a painstaking assessment of situation of things they settled to bring out someone of Ukachukwu’s ilk to mount the saddle in 2022.”
