The Deputy Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Lagos state chapter, Chief ThankGod Ibeh, says the party has strengthened its structure in Lagos State and will be one of the parties look out for during the next local government elections in the state.
Chief Ibeh gave the assessment in an interactive session with journalists in Awka.
Chief Ibeh who recently declared his interest to run for the November 6 Anambra Guber polls said that before now, APGA was just existing in name in Lagos but has now been repositioned with the capacity and structure to win future major elections in the state.
The Awgbu – born politician and philanthropist said that presently, the party has opened its offices in over sixteen local government areas of the state with its grassroots structure and os ready to field candidates in the next local government election in Lagos State.
He acknowledged that the party will be of immense benefit to Ndigbo living in Lagos State and will help protect them against any form of victimization or marginalization.
Continuing, Chief Ibeh pointed out that the leadership of the party are always at the forefront of re-echoing Anambra State Government’s Aku Luo Uno initiative.
On the upcoming November 6th guber election in the state, Chief Ibeh maintained that APGA has since inception left a trademark of good governance and consolidation, and will continue to drive the state to the right path, asking Ndi Anambra to guard against the antics of moneybag politicians whose interests are for their selfish gains and to disrupt the existing peace and orderliness in the state, under the able leadership of Governor Willie Obiano.
