Archbishop Ibezim Enrolled Into Anambra State Health Insurance Scheme

The Archbishop, Ecclesiastical Province on the Niger and Bishop of Awka diocese, Most Reverend Alexander Chibuzor Ibezim has been enrolled into the Anambra State Health Insurance Scheme.

Bishop Ibezim was enrolled during the 2021 Clergies and Wives Retreat in Awka.

Speaking during the retreat, the Executive Secretary, Anambra State Health Insurance Agency Dr Simeon Onyemaechi said that every responsible government is working towards achieving Universal health coverage, and one of the avenues to attain that is towards health insurance.

Dr. Onyemaechi who is also the Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on health, urged clergies and their wives to utilize the opportunity created by Governor Obiano through the scheme to enroll themselves for an easy health care services and urged other individuals and organisations to enrol into the scheme, as according to him, Anambra State Health Insurance Agency is one of the great legacies of Willie Obiano administration.

Earlier, bishop Ibezim described the scheme as a step in the right direction and charged all and sundry to register with the agency in other to benefit from all the unique packages embedded in the scheme.

With one thousand naira a month and twelve thousand yearly, one can be enrolled into the Anambra State Health Insurance Agency.

Anam Anambra State Health Insurance Agency was established by governor Willie Obiano in order to ensure that NDI Anambra and other residents of the state have access to quality and efficient health care services.
