Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration Kicks Off In Awka With Official Launch Of Emblem

2021 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration has kicked off today, 6th January, 2021 with official launch of emblem at the Government House, Awka.

Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, was represented by his Deputy, Dr. Nkem Okeke, at the event attended by the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Honourable Paschal Agbodike.

Army, Navy, Police, DSS and other Service Commanders are also present at the event.

Ananbra State Chairman, Nigerian Legion, Sir B. E Agbogu, said the day is special to military veterans, as it is set aside by government to honour and support them for devoting their active years in service to fatherland.
