The war between Arthur Eze and Gov Obiano is now an advantage to traditional rulers in Anambra state.
Arthur Eze agrees to pay the Anambra traditional ruler who are loyal to him, the sum of 200, 000 naira monthly; its alleged that the state government pays 50,000 monthly to the Traditional rulers.
Meanwhile, AIF Media gathered that Governor Obiano is reaching out to some leaders to go and beg Arthur Eze. From the information available to AIF Media has it that Obiano contacted one of the biggest Igbo importer from Ichi to help beg Arthur Eze to forgive and forget.
But a source close to the Ukpo billionaire said the Oil Magnate doesn’t want to see anybody from Agu Awka. He is angry that Agu Awka wrote petition against him and went as far as sacking Igwe Peter Uyanwa of Ukwuu for showing solidarity with him.
Today, Arthur Eze led some ndi Igwe to the Palace of Peter Uyanwa at Ukwulu in solidarity and support to him. He went to Ukwulu to inform whoever cares that Agu Awka can not sack Igwe Peter Uyanwa.
AIF Media learned that Agu Awka denied directing Greg Obi the Commissioner for LG and Chieftaincy Affairs to write a letter sacking Igwe Uyanwa.
The implication of this denial is that the commissioner may be sacrificed for a possible peace between the state governor and the regional governor.
