The strike, which commenced on February 14, 2022, as several meetings, interventions, consultations and FG-ASUU negotiations have been futile.
The ongoing strike by members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) will continue as members of the National Executive Council (NEC) of the union did not consider the option of suspending the action at its meeting which ended in the early hours of Monday in Abuja.
ASUU has extended its ongoing Strike by another 4-weeks.
