BBNaija’s Saga reveals how his mother’s passing allowed him to grow into his own person

Former BBNaija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ housemate, Saga, has opened up about the impact of his mother’s death on his life. In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Saga shared that he was a proper ‘mummy’s boy’ and his mother’s death left a huge vacuum in him and his father’s life.

Saga revealed that he and his mother had a very close bond, which affected his relationship with his dad quite negatively. However, following her demise, he and his father have tried to adjust living without her.

He also suggested that his appearance on the reality TV show contributed greatly to bonding well with his dad. He said that his father watched him on the show and that really cemented their relationship. Since he came out of the show, they have barely fought, and they are always gisting.

Saga stated that his mother’s death gave him the opportunity to be his own man, and he had to find his feet and become more independent, which made his father see him more as himself. The relationship between them has been getting better, and Saga is grateful for the opportunity to bond more with his dad.
