BREAKING: Anambra 2021: Anambra South PDP Moves against NWC position, Insists On Zoning

The stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP from Anambra South senatorial zone rose from a meeting this night to endorse the zoning of 2021 Anambra state governorship election to Anambra south senatorial zone.

All the PDP governorship aspirants from Anambra south senatorial zone met this night at the home of Evang Linus Ukachukwu where the decision to insist on Zoning to south was reached.

According to the 5-point communique released at the end of the meeting, the stakeholders said they re-affirmed that the next governor from Anambra state must come from Anambra south senatorial zone.

This position runs contrary to the position of the PDP NWC which stated that PDP will not zone the 2021 Anambra state governorship election.

Those at the meeting are;

Barr Obunike C Ohaegbu

Valentine Chineto Ozigbo

Hon Chris Emeka Azubogu

Chuma Nzeribe

Emeka Etiaba

Ifedi Okwenna

Ugochukwu Okeke

Goody Ezeemo

Others are Chief Evang Linus Ukachukwu and His Excellency, former governor Chukwuemeka Ezife.
