In a recent update, Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) has acknowledged the challenges faced by its customers while attempting to log in to the GTWorld Mobile Banking App. The bank issued an official statement to address the issue and offer alternative solutions to customers affected by the technical difficulties.

Expressing their sincerest apologies, GTBank acknowledged that the delivery of the new GTWorld App did not proceed as smoothly as anticipated. However, the bank assured customers that their team is working tirelessly to resolve the problems and restore normal functionality to the app.

While the issues with the GTWorld App are being addressed, GTBank has advised customers to utilize their Internet Banking platform for their online banking needs. To access online banking, customers are directed to visit the GTBank website at www.gtbank.com and log in using one of the following methods: the same User ID and Password used for GTWorld, Bank Account Number, Mobile Number, or Email. For customers who do not possess a hardware token, GTBank suggests generating e-tokens to complete transactions on Internet Banking. E-tokens can be generated by dialing 7377# or by downloading the e-token App via the Play Store or App Store.

In the event that customers have forgotten their passwords, GTBank provides a convenient password reset option on the Online Banking log-in page. Alternatively, customers can seek assistance by contacting GTCONNECT, the bank’s dedicated customer service helpline.

The bank reaffirmed its commitment to providing assistance and resolving any inquiries or complaints customers may have.
