Brief Citation of Dr Nkem Hillary Okeke (MB, BS, NAU, MSc Public Health in view)




Nkem Hillary Okeke was born on the 5th of November, 1992 at Ogidi Town, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria.

He had his basic education at HolyLand Nursery and Primary School, Ogidi where he graduated with flying colours. On October 25th 2005, young Nkem passed the National Common Entrance Examination coming out as the overall best in Idemili North LG Council Area. He thereafter gained admission into Federal Science and Technical College(FSTC), Awka where he completed his Secondary Education and was rated best among his contemporaries.

He has O’Level WASSCE in both Science and Arts with Distinctions.

He is currently a Medical Doctor trained at the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital(NAUTH), Nnewi.


Due to his love for humanity and youth development, Hillary has imparted so many lives through his NGO Hillary’s Inspiration Project Nigeria(HIPN). He worked as Classroom Teacher in Four different Schools at Ogidi, Nkpor and Onitsha.

On February 2018, Nkem embarked on a tour across Secondary Schools in Ogidi where he campaigned against Cultism, Alcohol and Drug abuse. The campaign recorded forty-two (42) students denouncing Cultism and on follow-up Mentorship.

He sponsors twenty-five pupils of his Alma Mata (Holyland Nursery and Primary School, Ogidi) under his “Scholarship Scheme” Annually.

He has tutored and mentored many fellow youths through several platforms as a Resource Speaker and Discussant.

As an Advocate of Youth Participation in Governance, Nkem has proven to be a strong voice both within and outside Nigeria on the importance of Youth participation in governance.

He is currently an International Climate Change Champion, an Honour from Kyoto Protocol, Japan since 2010. He is also an Ambassador for Girl Child’s Right Network Africa.

Nkem is an entrepreneur, Human Resource Expert and Youth Leader. He has proven Leadership and Public speaking abilities through several organizations.

He has a very strong passion for Natural Heritage and the Promotion of African Culture with broad background and knowledge of World Affairs and Culture. Able to communicate concepts, strategize Network people and proven multiplier skills.

He has several online courses to his credit given his Master’s Degree Programme in Public Health.

Currently, Dr Nkem Okeke is working with the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, UNTH, Enugu.
