“Prof. Soludo had planned on inheriting the ICC project as “uncompleted project” from the outgoing Government (despite being 89% completed), and claim the glory of the Obiano legacy project on his first 100 days in office as part of his achievements as he planned to instead commission the ICC centre as Technology Centre.

Prof. Charles Soludo declined the proposal of Willie Obiano to hold the handover ceremony at the new ICC and has continued to forestall possible moves by the outgoing administration of Willie Obiano to open the ten thousand (10,000) capacity conference centre for use before his end tenure on 17th March. Obiano instead insisted on the commissioning which didn’t go well with the Governor elect.”

This is not the perfect start those who supported Soludo against all odds had envisaged.
