Burna Boy Set to Soar with Seventh Studio Album ‘I Told Them’ and Heartfelt Tribute Single ‘Big 7

Grammy Award-winning Afrobeats superstar, Burna Boy, has exciting news for his fans as he revealed the release date for his highly anticipated seventh studio album, titled “I Told Them.” The album is set to drop on August 25, 2023, under the labels Spaceship, Bad Habit, and Atlantic Record.

In anticipation of the album release, Burna Boy also unveiled a new single titled “Big 7,” a heartfelt tribute to the late Indian rapper, Sidhu Moose Wala, and the late American fashion designer, Virgil Abloh. The single showcases Burna Boy’s signature style, combining upbeat melodies with trap beats that are sure to captivate listeners.

“I Told Them” will be a 15-track LP, featuring lead singles “Sittin’ On Top of The World” featuring 21 Savage, “Big 7,” and a bonus track “Talibans II” featuring Byron Messia.

Accompanied by a stunning music video directed by Benny Boom, “Big 7” boasts a star-studded appearance with contributions from Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA, Busta Rhymes, Junior Mafia, and actor Shameik Moore. Burna Boy expressed that the title “Big 7” symbolizes his aspiration to achieve greater heights in his musical journey, with the number seven representing attainable and harmonious growth.

The forthcoming album promises to be a remarkable musical journey for Burna Boy and his fans, building on the success of his previous single “Sittin’ On Top Of The World” featuring 21 Savage, which was released in June.
