Chief Emeka Igwe the PDP candidate for House Of Representatives Awka North and South Federal Constituency, and a member of the Chinemeze Age Grade of Awka community on Sunday the 25th day of September played host to members of his age grade as they inaugurated their new executives.
The mood was electrifying as all the members could not withhold their joy, for the fact that one of theirs is contesting for the hallowed position of House of Representatives for Awka North and South Federal Constituency and as such vowed to throw in all their weight in support of his mandate to ensure victory at the polls.
The age grade which has been known for it’s vibrant activities vowed to channel all their efforts towards achieving this common goal, according to one of them “it will be a case of serious betrayal if they fail to give Chief Emeka Igwe of the PDP their unalloyed support and they will be no different from Judas Iscariot who betrayed Christ in the Holy Bible”.
While speaking Etoo Dike thanked his mates for pledging their support to this project, he promised to run an all inclusive representation where everyone will benefit accordingly and they ( his age grade mates ) will be at the frontline.
Everyone was treated to nice delicacies as they dine and wine to the soft music playing at the background.
