CMD, COUTH AMAKU – Awka, Dr. Akabuike Marks One Hundred Days In Office

The Chief Medical Director, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Amaku Awka, Dr. Joe Akabuike today, thursday, twenty ninth July, 2021 marked his one hundred days in office.

The event which was held at the hospital premises attracted dignitaries from all walks of life, including the Anambra state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Vincent Okpala, the chairman board of trustees of the hospital, Dr. Clement Idigo, represented by Prof. Francis Oguno of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, the pioneer CMD of the hospital, Dr. Lawrence Ikeakor, the Executive Secretary, Anambra State Health Insurance Agency, Dr Simeon Onyemaechi among others.

Speaking during the event, Dr. Akabuike who thanked Govermor Willie Obiano for the confidence reposed in him listed various achievements of his administration within hundred days in office, which include building and equipping of a dialysis unit, lightning of the hospital, procurement of 3D ultra sound machine among others.

Dr. Akabuike promised that he will take the hospital to a greater height.
