Continue To Pray For State’s Leadership, Ibezim Tells Christians

Anambra state Deputy Governor, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim has asked Christians in the state not to relent in praying for the state and its leaders.

The Deputy Governor made the call when a team of Anambra Prays International paid a visit to him in his office at Government House, Awka.

Deputy Governor Ibezim who described leadership positions as all encompassing, stressed the need for people of the state to be praying for their leaders for divine wisdom to appropriately discharge their duties.

Dr Ibezim pointed out that the dreams and plans of the present Professor Chukwuma Soludo led administration of making the state livable and conducive for the residents, will only be actualized through divine help, guidance, and prayers of the citizenry.

Speaking earlier, the National President, Anambra Prays International, Archbishop Ignatius Orizu explained that Anambra Prays International is a nondenominational and nonpolitical prayer group whose sole objective is to always pray for God’s intervention in numerous challenges facing Anambra state, Igbo land and Nigeria in general, and solicited for the state government’s assistance to the organization, to enable them accomplish their mandate.
