COVID-19: Stranded Nigerian Students in China cries over visa expiration, begs FG to intervene

The group of stranded students in China whose visa has expired upon the completion of their program in China due to the Covid-19 outbreak, cries over their return to Nigeria is currently under severe threat due to cost issues. Worst, the Nigerian embassy has fixed 3rd August as the payment deadline for the Aipeace evacuation flight.

The group further complained that their little effort to reach the government and appeal for intervention has not produced any results as their flight fees are still fixed at $1400 at an exchange rate of N468, which they can’t afford.

Attached to this article is an open letter that they have addressed to the Nigerian leadership and masses in a desperate call for help.
