Crisis In PDP Anambra Deepens as acting state chairman suspended

The crisis in PDP Anambra state has deepened as the Acting State Chairman of the party, Comr Okey Asolo has been suspended by his ward.

In a letter sent to AIF Media, the PDP ward 13 Onitsha north LGA said “arising from a crucial meeting from the ward executive committee held today, the 3rd day of April 2022, the People’s Democratic Party ward 13, Onitsha north local government area of Anambra state suspended Comrade Okey Asolo from the ward on account of violation of PDP constitution and anti party activities.”

Recall that the acting state chairman of PDP, Comr Okey Asolo last week suspended Chief Chris Uba and Chief Linus Ukachukwu for 30 days.

His suspension is possibly a counter response from the Uba camp. But coming from his ward is a big blow.

The suspension letter was signed by the ward chairman, Onitsha north ward 13, Obinna Obialor and ward secretary, Obinna Obichinyere.
