By Okonkwo Samuel

During a press meeting today, Mr. Akuneziri Stanley, the manager of Cosmila Hotel & Suites, spoke to reporters about the unfortunate incident that occurred at the hotel. The incident involved the tragic death of Chinyere Awuda, known as Chizzy, who was found dead inside the abandoned pool during the early hours of Monday morning. Different stories about how she died have caused arguments.

Stanley clarified that he was not actually present at the hotel when the incident occurred and emphasized that he doesn’t normally participate in such activities. Contradicting an earlier report, he confirmed that the incident happened on Monday morning around 4 am, not on Saturday as initially reported by bloggers.

According to the manager, the incident unfolded during a fashion brand launch event for “Good Life,” hosted by a young man known as “Bullion van”. Attendees at the event were seen spraying money in support of Bullion Van’s venture. During the money spraying, Chinyere Awuda allegedly tried to grab some money from the bag that was being sprayed. This action led the men, who accused her of stealing, to chase after her as shown by the hotel’s CCTV footage.
