Desist From Unguarded Utterances On The Arrest & Ongoing Investigation Of Tukur Mamu – DSS Warns

The Department of State Services (DSS) has cautioned the public against unguarded utterances on the arrest and ongoing investigation of Tukur Mamu.

A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, DSS, Dr Peter Afunanya, said the DSS is following with keen observation, what it termed overzealous comments by sections of the public in view of issues relating to the arrest and investigation of Tukur Mamu.

He said the Service would have preferred it is not distracted with some of the skewed narratives pervading the media space and advised the public to desist from making baseless utterances and allow it concentrate on the ongoing investigations, which outcomes have remained mind-boggling.

Dr Afunanya urged the public to await the court proceedings which will determine its course.
