Dynamic Friends Club International, a social-cultural association with members in Nigeria and abroad, has elected Uche Nworji as its Mayor, and other executive members who will pilot the affairs of the club for the next three years.
The election was part of the club’s 2021 national convention to mark its twenty years of existence.
Dynamic Friends Club International is a registered club in Nigeria that accommodates all ethnicity, religion and geopolitical race. Members of the club are ranked according to their years of service and positions, and include executives, lords chancellors, deans and dukes.
Addressing the members of the club, the outgoing mayor, Chinedu Nwogwugwu welcomed them to the atmosphere of peace and tranquility which Anambra state holds and expressed optimism that he was handing over a healthy and balanced association to the new administration to take -off, and asked the new executive to hit the ground running.
Some members of the club, Mr Onyebuchi Ihueze and Chief Obiorah Iwuchukwu thanked fellow members for their commitment and understanding in carrying the flag of the club, which is why it has achieved greatly across the world and challenged the new leadership to emulate their predecessor.
In an acceptance speech on behalf of the new executive, the newly-elected mayor of the club, Uche Nworji appreciated the club for finding him worthy to serve in the prestigious association that houses captains of industries and assured that they will not relent on the mandate given to them in projecting and sustaining the love that exists among the club members.
According to the Enugwu-Ukwu – born Mayor, the club is a social group whose priority is to be their brothers’ allies in achieving better goals and revealed that before new intakes are accepted into the club, they are subjected to full screening to ensure that they are individuals of proven integrity.
Chief Nwanneka Onwusaor, Chairman of BON Hotel SmithCity, and Chief Ifeanyi Nwosu variously congratulated the new executive and wished them a successful tenure.
