Easter: Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Ejidike calls for sober reflection

Nigerians have been admonished to chart the path of holiness and righteousness if our country must progress and witness spiritual transformation.

The Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Chief Donatus N. Agu- Ejidike, J.P. made the appeal in his Easter message to the people as the nation celebrates the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Chief Ejidike sounded that Jesus Christ died for mankind and shed his blood on the cross of calvary for the atonement of our sins so that we can inherit the kingdom of God.

“Our land has been polluted with dastardly wicked and heinous sins of killings, rituals, corruption, and shedding on innocent souls which are calling for vengeance. It is a known fact that God is angry with our country, hence the need for genuine repentance. God said: ‘righteousness exalt a nation, but sin is a reproach’. We need to imbibe the teachings of Christ that we should forsake our evil ways”
