The Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN), Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI), and the Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI) have all expressed concerns and cautioned against military intervention.

JNI warned against military action, expressing concern over the seizure of power in Niger through a coup. The group advised against pursuing military action and called for diplomatic and political resolutions to the crisis.

AANI expressed support for ECOWAS’ call to restore democracy in Niger but cautioned against immediate military action. They stressed the need to consider the implications on the people of Niger and the West African sub-region.

The Arewa Broadcast Media Practitioners Forum (ABMPF) also cautioned against military intervention and emphasized the potential humanitarian consequences and regional instability.

Human rights activist Femi Falana highlighted the legal requirements for a military intervention, indicating that approval from Nigeria’s National Assembly and authorization from the UN Security Council are necessary.

In conclusion, various groups and experts have advised against military action and instead recommended diplomatic solutions to the crisis in Niger Republic. They emphasize the importance of considering the consequences on the region and adhering to constitutional and international legal requirements.
