Agulu— A priest of Anglican Diocese of Awka, Revd. Dunu Chinedu has heaped praise on the leading aspirant for November 6 election under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP), Senator Uche Ekwunife for being the brains behind the numerous ongoing projects across Anambra Central Senatorial District, saying that if he was to be a politician he would suggest PDP should unanimously hand over the party ticket to Ekwunife so that she will drive the state towards economic growth and prosperity. He said that Agulu Anglican community and Awka Diocese were impressed by the extent of progress Ekwunife has made in the education sector since she was elected in 2019.
The cleric who spoke recently when Ekwunife, represented by a delegation led by the former Commissioner for Women Affairs, Lady Henrietta Agbata paid a visit for the flag off of the perimeter fence she attracted to the school thanked the Igbo-Ukwu born Senator for the project, describing her as an exceptional lawmaker.
