Essential Ndubuisi
The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, Wednesday April 21, 2021, joined dignitaries from different strata of society and the entire Umuchima community of Uli in Ihiala LGA to pay their last respects to Madam Lucy Odiakamje Orjiako.
Late Ezinne Orjiako otherwise known as Ada Di Umunne Ya Mma until her passage was the aunt of Dr Ambrose Bryant Chukwuemeka Orjiako. Dr. Orjiako widely known as ABC Orjiako is the Chairman, Seplat Petroleum Development Company and a respected political stakeholder in Anambra state.
The funeral mass which was held at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Uli was celebrated by the Bishop of Orlu Diocese, Most Rev. Dr. Augustine T Ukwuoma.
Speaking at the residence of ABC Orjiako, Ekwunife described the late matriarch as a woman who lived a purposeful life, noting that she impacted positively on the lives of many in the community and beyond. She noted that the deceased’s lifestyle was worthy of emulation. Ekwunife prayed God to comfort those affected by the demise of Ezinne Orjiako.
The Chairman Senate Committee on Science and Technology on behalf of her family and good people of Anambra Central Senatorial District extended condolences to the family of Dr Orjiako.
Dr ABC Orjiako is a very close friend to Senator Ekwunife. Meanwhile, Ezinne Orjiako died at the age of 96.
