The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD, has heartily congratulated Onyinye Nnanwa and Kingsley Ubani on the success of their wedding.
The groom, Ubani, a lecturer of Computer science in the school of applied sciences in the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, is the Special Adviser on Media to Ekwunife.
The Mass of the holy matrimony which was held at St. Lawrence Chapel, Awka was graced by the President General of Nri Kingdom Chief Dr Kelvin Obiegbunam, Anambra state former Accountant General Mrs. Helen Nwaeri. Others were families, well-wishers, staff and members of Senator Uche Ekwunife Campaign Organization as well as other dignitaries from all walks of life.
Delivering the sermon, the Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Paulinus Okonkwo enjoined the couple to establish a partnership of intimacy, adding that the marriage is a divine mission and its blessings are from God. He prayed God for peace and harmony in the union of the couple.
While congratulating the couple, Ekwunife described Ubani as a very dedicated aide, adding that the marriage is made in heaven. She noted that she was thrilled to celebrate the union.
Ekwunife advised the couple to make love, tolerance and mutual respect pillars of their marriage. She said that she looked forward to their new journey .
Continuing, the Chairman Senate Committee on Science Technology and Innovation who was represented by the former Anambra state Chairman of ASUBEB, Associate Professor Rose Nwankwo wished the newly couple a happy married life.
