Narrating how he defeated an incumbent governor to emerge as the representative of Oyo South, the Senator popularly addressed as KMB, stated that his victory which came against all odds, reminds him of what can be achieved in Anambra if Senator Ekwunife wins the governorship ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party. He further described Ekwunife as the choice of God.

“I work closely with the woman most of us refer to as Iyom. She is a woman who can be trusted to deliver on any assignment. Her doggedness and political sagacity leave most of us in awe. Having worked with her in the science and technology committee and many other standing and adhoc committees of the senate, I have no doubt that she will transform Anambra State as governor”, he said.
