Ekwunife Keeps Attracting Roads And Housing Projects To Constituents – Catholic Bishop

The Auxiliary Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev Jonas Benson Okoye has praised the leading aspirant for the November 6 election under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Uche Ekwunife, noting that she is a lawmaker who has been attracting houses for the less privileged and roads to many communities in the zone.

The Bishop made this known on Friday, March 12, 2021, during the funeral mass of late Mrs. Mary Theresa Ejiofor at Adazi-Nnukwu in Anaocha LGA, Anambra state. The late Mrs. Ejiofor was the mother of Hon. Ebele Ejiofor who is representing Anaocha Constituency I in Anambra state House of Assembly.

Speaking, His lordship commended Ekwunife for the numerous ongoing projects across the length and breadth of the zone. He said that he was happy when he noticed that the projects were attracted by Ekwunife.

Recalling, Bishop Okoye mentioned particularly Adazi-Nnukwu community as one of the villages where there are ongoing projects attracted by Ekwunife. He prayed God to bless the Igbo-Ukwu born Senator and others who are genuinely remembering the less privileged and making efforts for the betterment of the society.

Addressing newsmen shortly after the Requiem Mass, Ekwunife re-assured that she will continue to be effective and focused both in discharging her primary responsibilities as a lawmaker and delivering dividends of democracy to her constituents. She described the ongoing projects across the zone as her way of appreciating constituents who gave her their mandate to represent the zone on the floor of the senate.

Talking on, the Senator said God and hard work were the reasons for the tangibles being felt in the zone. She promised that more developmental projects await the zone in this fiscal year.

Concluding, the Chairman Senate Committee on Science and Technology sought for support and prayers of Ndi Anambra in her bid to reposition the state towards the path of economic prosperity.
