The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Uche Ekwunife (Iyom) will on Monday 7th December, 2020 flag-off a total of EIGHT(8) NEW PROJECTS in the Senatorial District.
The projects are:
- Road construction at Timber Market Umuokpu
- Construction of Oguejiofor Road Adazi-Nnukwu
- Construction of E.Onyeagba Road Enugwu-Ukwu
- Echezona/Igwe Nwokeobi Road Obosi
- Construction of market stall at Eke-Oyibo Market Amawbia
- Supply of Transformer at Odume & Awada, Obosi
- Borehole project at Aguluzigbo
- Solar Street Light Project at Eziowelle
Recall that Senator Ekwunife has for the past few months flagged off a number of projects in the constituency, these include Road construction projects, Construction of classroom blocks, Market stalls, 3-bedroom bungalows for some less privileged families, Borehole projects, Street lights projects etc. While some of these projects are already completed, others are at the intermediate and advanced stages of completion.
Also worthy of note is the fact that the Senator had recently attracted some Capacity Building programmes to the Senatorial District, these include, the recently concluded Entrepreneurial Development and Skills Acquisition Training for women and youths in Anambra Central, National Office for Technology Acquisition And Promotion (NOTAP) technology story board distribution programme which benefited about 9 schools in Anambra State, facilitation of a Strategic Seminar for the Clergy in Anambra Central, Training for the Presidents General in Anambra Central and others.
This projects flag-off signifies the official commencement of work at the different project sites. It is in line with Senator Ekwunife’s commitment to address the developmental needs of her constituents.
It is equally pertinent to note that Ekwunife who has been dubbed by many as MADAM PROJECT because of her established capacity in facilitating and executing laudable projects in her constituency has vowed to attract and sponsor more laudable projects to the communities under her jurisdiction.
