Chief Executive Officer of Twitter, Elon Musk, has slammed San Francisco’s Department of Building Inspection for investigating reports that Twitter has set up beds at its headquarters for workers while failing to address the city’s drug epidemic.
Building inspectors in San Francisco have announced that they are investigating reports that Twitter has converted several office rooms at its headquarters into sleeping quarters for employees, reports Daily Mail.
Musk slammed the government in a tweet on Wednesday for focusing on investigating companies with beds for employees rather than safeguarding children in the city following a recent report about a baby’s near death after ingesting fentanyl he found on the ground of a neighbourhood playground
He tweeted, “So city of SF attacks companies providing beds for tired employees instead of making sure kids are safe from fentanyl. Where are your priorities #LondonBreed!?”
