Embrace Peace, Unity Of Purpose, Gov Soludo Tells Politicians

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has harped on the need for people to live a life of peace and love.

Governor Soludo made the emphasis at St Theresa’s Catholic church Enugwu-ukwu, Njikoka council area during the funeral service of Late Mr Boniface Nwankwo.

Late Mr Nwankwo was the father of Honourable Dozie Nwankwo, the member representating, Njikoka, Anaocha and Dunukofia Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives.

He was also the father in-law of the immediate past Minister of Transport and former Rivers Governor, Mr Rotimi Amaechi.

Addressing the congregation, Governor Soludo remarked that death is a necessary end for all and harped on the need for people to live a life of purpose and uprightness.

Governor Soludo said that the patriarch lived a life of peace and called on politicians to be peaceful in their dealings as Anambra is a peace loving state.

He sympathized with the family and asked them to take solace in the fact that their father lived well and advised them to emulate his legacy.

The wife of the President of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari joined the mass through zoom, while the wife of Anambra State Governor, Mrs Nonye Soludo, Immediate past Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Victor Umeh, among others were present at the event.
