Ending Insecurity: Anambra Youth Volunteers Seek Partnership With Town Unions

The Anambra Youth Volunteers, AYV, is seeking partnership with the Anambra State Association of Towns Unions, ASATU, to strengthen the quest for a secure and peaceful Anambra State.

The group, stated this while tendering a brief before the ASATU General Assembly at its secretariat in Awka.

The delegation, led by its leader, Mazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu, said the visit was in line with the call on Anambra youths by Professor Chukwuma Soludo, to take back the State from those whose intents are to elicit fear and destroy.

He explained that the group has also formed what it calls “Anambra Youth Volunteer Scheme”, an engaging approach that aims to encourage youths to take responsibility and add value, rather than getting involved in crimes.
