In an unprecedented declaration of support for the governorship ambition of Senator Uche Ekwunife (Iyom), the PDP House of Assembly Candidate for Awka South II Constituency in the 2019 general elections, Hon Engr Moses Anene has endorsed the leading aspirant for the governorship election under the platform of the party, Senator Uche Ekwunife, describing her as a gift to humanity and a woman whom God has given enormous grace.
Engr Anene popularly known as Moses Of Our Time made this relevations in a meeting he convened on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at the PDP Awka South II Constituency Office Nibo.
The endearing, popular and young politician, stated that his decision to endorse Ekwunife came after a careful and thorough assessment of all the aspirants seeking for the party’s ticket. He noted that the outcome of his assessment shows that Ekwunife is the darling of the grassroots which she has earned through her unprecedented impact on the lives of the people, urging all delegates of the party to throw their weight behind her.
Notably present were the former Deputy Governor of Anambra state, HE Chief Abolle Okoyeagu (Odenjinji Awka), some former House of Assembly candidates, Hon Prestige Okafor and Hon Elijah Uchenna Okafor. PDP Woman leader Awka South, Mrs. Dora Oguocha, a prominent and highly respected Stakeholder in the LGA, Chief Vincent Odum, several LGA and ward executives of the party amongst others.
