On behalf of the Ex- Councillors of Enugu State (1999-2015) we wish to acknowledge and appreciate the Government of Enugu State under the leadership of His Excellency Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his ingenuity, Wisdom and prompt intervention in handling the Youths who are protesting against SARS activities in Nigeria, Particularly, we are excitingly amazed at the immediate return of Peace and normalcy in Enugu State and prompt evacuation and cleansing of debris that littered the Roads and streets around Enugu environs.
They also appreciate the Governor for Constituting and inaugurating a 9 Member administrative Panel of inquiry to look into the recent loss of lives and/other grievous body injuries to private citizens and security personnel.
However, We Congratulate His Excellency for proper Management of the #ENDSARS crises in Enugu State and urge all Citizens of Enugu State to stand behind our Governor and shun any attempts by unpatriotic individuals attempting to create Confusion/Violence in the State.
We use this Opportunity to inform the general public particularly the Ex-Councillors in the State of our proposal to pay Solidarity Visit to Our dear Governor in a date to be announced.
