Federal Government Delays New Monthly Pension Payment for Parastatals’ Pensioners to Address Logistics Challenges

The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has announced a shift in the implementation date for the new monthly pension payment for pensioners in parastatals under the Ministry of Power and Transportation.

Initially scheduled for July, the commencement of the back-end computation project will now take place in August 2023.

The adjustment was deemed necessary to address logistics challenges and ensure smooth production and implementation of the new pension payment system.
