Outlined in his comprehensive 80-page manifesto, titled ‘Renewed Hope 2023 – Action Plan for a Better Nigeria,’ President Tinubu has detailed an eight-point agenda that encompasses crucial sectors like national security, the economy, agriculture, power, oil and gas, transportation, education, healthcare, digital economy, women’s empowerment, judicial reform, federalism, decentralization of power, and foreign policy.

As part of the preparations for the inauguration, the ministers-designate have completed documentation processes, including biometric verification and the submission of relevant credentials. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja. Ahead of the event, security has been heightened at the venue, with stringent measures in place to ensure a secure atmosphere.

In addition to their inauguration, the ministers are primed to commence their responsibilities immediately. The Deputy-President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Gabriel Idahosa, emphasizes the critical areas for the new ministers to concentrate on, such as power, infrastructure, raw materials access, port logistics, and price stability. He highlights the necessity of these foundational elements for the success of manufacturing and economic growth.

Furthermore, there are indications that the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is preparing to inaugurate new officers to replace outgoing members.
