Federal Government should declare state of emergency on herdsmen/kidnappers now! – The position of the Southern Peoples Congress (SPC)

We woke up again this morning the 04/09/21, to received the death of Mr. Olajide Sowore, who is the younger brother to Omoyele Sowore, he met his tragedy near Okada in Edo State on his way from Igbinedion University, where he is studying Pharmacy.
We were told, he was shot and killed by herdsmen/kidnappers, the plot of these herdsmen stretches credulity to the limit.
He was full of praises by his elder brother, as an out-of-the-box thinker, who lived a life of perfection and caring, the young man used to cover up for them and take all the blames whenever their disciplinarian father wants to discipline them.
Death did not allow him become donnish of becoming a pharmacist where he studies at the Igbinedion University, Okada in Edo State.
Hon. George Wilson, a National leader in SPC, condemn the continuous killings/kidnappings by these deadly herdsmen/bandits atrocities, “for how long should we keep condoning such unholy act” I am highly dolorous.
It appears our security agencies has completely failed in their duties to protect life’s and properties of all Nigerians or they seems not to have any clue or solutions on how to curb this animals in human skin.
The blood and life’s of every citizens should be taken very seriously by the government, as we cannot continue to watch the life’s of innocent citizens being wiped away on a daily bases.
We the Southern Peoples Congress (SPC) sees this act as dreadful and terrible.
Government should task our security agencies to leave up to their expectations and bring all those responsible for these drastic act to book.
However, if something urgent is not done, we dread what will happen in no distance time.
The entire world is tired and unhappy to watch the continuous waste of innocent citizens blood in this country, security of life’s and properties should be Paramount swiftly.
