Five Counter-insurgency Officers, Others Receive Theatre Commander Commendation Award

Five officers of Operation Hadin Kai Joint Task Force, were decorated with the Theatre Commander Commendation Award on Saturday.

According to security analyst, Zagazola Makama, the decorated officers
distinguished themselves and demonstrated exceptional bravery, dedication and commitment in the fight against insurgents in the North East.

The awardees include men of the Nigerian Air Force, Navy, Police, Department of State Service, Nigerian Customs Service, the Correctional Service, Nigerian Immigration Service, Civil Defence and the Civilian JTF.

The Theatre Commander, Major General Christopher Musa, also decorated about 80 officers, soldiers and journalists with gallantry medals.
