Former Kogi Law Maker Released By Abductors After Paying 15m Ransom And 100k Recharge Card

A former member of Kogi State House of Assembly, Friday Makama Sanni and six others have regained their freedom after paying N15 million ransom and N100,000 naira recharge cards to the kidnappers.

The gunmen stormed Hilltop Hotel in Tunga Maje village near Zuba in Abuja and kidnapped Sanni, Prince Frederick Adejoh (Oma Onu Aya), and five others on Thursday, June 24.

Nigerian Tribune gathered that the gunmen had earlier demanded the sum of N20 million and later reduced the ransom to N15 million.

Family sources, who confirmed the development said the victims were released at a location in Niger State on Saturday, June 26
