The economic development of a society is a critical component that raises the standards of living for the citizenry. It is through the applied process of economic development that jobs are created and local communities developed. It is for instance a situation where a state begins to process different kinds of raw materials into finished products for local consumption and export, thereby generating more revenue for projects execution.
Such economic package includes but not limited to job creation, increased tax revenue, which translates to more funds for local infrastructural developments, and economic fortification which helps to protect the economy from going into comatose or recession.
Over time, the Anambra State born lawmaker representing Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituencies, Engr. Chris Azubogu has proven himself a worthy example of a politician who is ever prepared to develop the society with critical infrastructures for a long term economic growth.
The Nnewi Automotive Industrial Park is a true testament that the ‘Governor of Projects’ has a burning passion for the economic development of his Constituency in particular and Anambra State in general. In parallel to that is the mother of all his developmental strides, which is his yearly free medical outreach which recently distributed a total of 6,093 eye glasses to patients that came from far and near for free eye treatments at the forth Azubogu Free Medical Outreach. The fifth in line is already slated.
The Azubogu Leadership Phenomenon is one that shows that any society with a thriving economic activity hardly boxes herself into communal unrest. And Mr. Project is ever prepared to pursue new economic windows for towns in Anambra as means of resolving communal unrests within these communities, thereby growing the economy of our dear State.
