Governor Soludo Inaugurates Tiger Foods’ State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Plant, Paving the Way for Agricultural Manufacturing Growth in Anambra

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has officially commissioned Tiger Foods’ new manufacturing and vegetables processing plant at Km 4, Onitsha-Owerri Road, Obosi, while expressing his interest in partnering with the company to boost the emerging manufacturing Eco-System in Anambra State.

During the event, Governor Soludo highlighted his administration’s efforts in the manufacturing sector, including establishing an industrial city and promoting exports, with a focus on transforming the economy from importation-driven to exportation-oriented, in line with his manifesto.

Tiger Foods’ Chairman, Chief Celestine Ebubebogu, and Managing Director, Don Ebubebogu, shared the company’s inspiring journey, starting from their mother’s venture into local spices to becoming one of West Africa’s largest spice producers, promoting Anambra worldwide. They expressed their commitment to the “Aku lụọ uno” philosophy and eagerness to partner with the state government.

The commissioning event was attended by notable dignitaries, including the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, and Commissioner for Industry, Mr. Christian Chiedozie. The Governor and his wife, Nonye, also took a tour of the facility during the occasion.
