Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, marked his 63rd birthday by leading a health walk, urging the people of Anambra to embrace regular exercise and maintain a balanced diet for a healthy and fulfilling life.
Accompanied by his wife, Nonye, Principal Secretary, Barrister JPC Anaeto, Chief of Staff, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, among others, Governor Soludo shared his secret to feeling youthful at 63 during the eight-kilometer walk in his hometown, Isuofia, Aguata Local Government.
He emphasized the importance of a healthy lifestyle and revealed plans to incorporate “Healthy Living With Nonye Soludo” into Anambra Schools to instill healthy habits in children. The Governor expressed the state’s commitment to prioritizing health, stating that “health is wealth.”
During interviews, government officials including Chief of Staff Mr. Ezeajughi, Chief of Protocol and Deputy Chief of Staff Mr. Chinedu Nwoye, and Press Secretary Mr. Christian Aburime, along with Mr. Tony Moubike, the Member representing Aguata Two Constituency at the State House of Assembly, prayed for Governor Soludo’s good health and successful fulfillment of his vision for the state.
The celebration included traditional music and a cake-cutting ceremony to mark the joyous occasion.
