Pan-Yoruba group accuses Obidients Movement of attacking Yoruba heritage and Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, in a statement issued over the weekend.
According to the group, the attacks on Soyinka, who is known for speaking the truth and defending democracy and human rights, show a high level of immorality and a lack of culture.
The group claims the Obidients’ Movement is motivated by false history, arrogance and a savage passion for ceaseless acts of aggression.
The group warned that Yoruba people are being pushed beyond their limits and will henceforth adopt proportional response to deal with alleged Igbo bullying and ethnic profiling of Peter Obi.
The Think Yoruba First organisation is constituted of Yoruba professionals at home and in the Diaspora.
