Yesterday being June 24, 2020, pursuant to the provisions of Section 85 of the Electoral Act, 2010(as amended in 2014)on elections for the replacement of National officers, the National Executive Committee(NEC) of the Young Progressives Party held its 19 meeting at Peniels Hotel Abuja where the National Executive Committee ratified the nominations of six new National officers to fill in the vacant positions in the National Executive Committee.
The newly inaugurated national officers include:
1. Mr. Chigozie Gerald Udogu-Acting National Youth Leader.
2. Barr. Chukwuemeka Nwigwe- National Legal Adviser
3. Dr(Mrs.) Appolonia Obiageri Ezeadili-Deputy Woman leader.
4. Hajiya Faiza Tafida-North West Zonal Woman Leader
5. Mr. Williams Moses-Deputy Organizing Secretary
6. Chief Chris Ifesi-SouthEast Zonal Chairman
7. Comr. Owoyombo Gbenga Solomon-Deputy National Youth Leader
8. Mrs Anita Zugwei-Chukwu-Deputy National Government Liaison Adviser.
In attendance of the 19th NEC meeting were the YPP National Chairman; Comr. Bishop Amakri, the Senator representing Anambra South and National Leader; Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, the National Secretary; Barr Vidiyeno Bamaiyi and other members of the National Executive Committee.
