The Kaduna State Police Command has announced the dismantling of a roadblock mounted by bandits on the Funtua-Zaria road at Gulbala, in the Giwa Local Government Area of the state and rescuing of 76 abducted travellers.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Command’s spokesman, Mohammed Jalige, said the breakthrough was the result of a joint effort by the police and the military.
