Kidnapped Kaduna College of Education students, released

Kidnapped Kaduna College of Education (KSCOE) student Gidan Waya has regained her freedom from their hands of their kidnappers.

Four students of Kaduna State College of Education (KSCOE), Gidan Waya; Racheal Edwin, Esther Ishaya, Promise Tanimu, and Beauty Luka, were reportedly abducted in Mile 1 area of Gidan Waya axis on Monday evening.

Comrade Benjamin Fie, President of the Students Union in the school informed newsmen that their abductors demanded huge sums as ransom

However, he said they were all set free from the kidnappers’ den on Friday

Comrade Benjamin, who did not say whether ransom was paid, explained that the released victims were rushed to Sir Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa Memorial Hospital in Kafanchan for a medical checkup after which they were reunited with their relatives.
